Every Child Has the Right to Sport

Bērnu Drosmes Ceļš is a social initiative in Riga, Latvia, aiming to create a safe, accessible and fully adapted sports environment for children with special needs.

The project is intended for children with mobility, physical development, sensory and neurodevelopmental disabilities, including wheelchair users.

The planned centre will include adapted sports infrastructure, specialised equipment, ramps and other accessibility features. Jiu-jitsu classes will help children develop physical abilities, confidence, determination and social skills.

The project is implemented by the association Cerību eņģeļi. Classes are planned in cooperation with Strong Jiu Jitsu Academy.
